First United Methodist Church of Nacogdoches is becoming famous for our Family Activities during the year: Easter Egg Hunt the day before Easter Swing into Summer Church Family Picnic at the park on just after school is out "Methodist Madness" Friday Night Fun Park is the culmination of our week of Vacation Bible School. Bring the whole family on at 6:00pm.
Fourth of July Ice Cream Social on the front lawn to wait for the fireworks Back to School Bash – The last Sun. evening before school starts, we’ll have Slip and Slides with our picnic on the front lawn Trunk or Treat and Heroes Unmasked gives children a safe family environment to enjoy Halloween. March to the Manger – All church breakfast in the Family Life Center, stories, cakewalk, silent auction and carol singing. The children have their pictures made while they present gifts to baby Jesus (to be donated to the Heartbeat Pregnancy Center).
MoG Wednesdays
First United Methodist Church offers classes for everyone in the family on Wednesday nights for 12 weeks in the fall and 12 weeks in the spring. We begin each evening with our MoG SUPPERS - 5:00–6:00 in the Family Life Center. Classes for all ages from 2 through youth and adults begin at 6:00. Have you had your MOG today? Come get your MOG on. Are you MOGGING? Got MOG? Where’s my MOG? MOG down. How is your MOG, anyway? Don’t fight the MOG. What have you MeansOfGrace MOGGED recently? Have you lost your MOG? Beginning with Macra’s MoG Meals Join us from 5:00 to 6:00 for a delicious supper in the Family Life Center. Suggested donation is $4 for adults and $3 for students, (kids under 4 eat free) payable at the door. Peanut butter and jelly sandwiches will be available for those children not eating the meal.
