Serve Team 2021-2022
What is the Serve Team?
A group of youth who seek love God, love others and make a difference in their youth ministry. These goals are met by sharing ministry ideas; setting the vision, mission and goals for FUMC Nacogdoches Youth; planning events and activities; setting an example of service by coming early to set up and staying late to clean up; leading youth meetings; and by helping get the word out about our ministry.
Who is the Serve Team?
This year’s ST is made of seven members who are dedicated to the mission of our youth ministries.
Michelle Coffee
Hey y’all! My name’s Michelle Coffee and I’m going to be a senior at Nacogdoches High School this year. I’m a manager for the Dragonette Drill Team, the President of the Class of 2022, and I love to read in my free time.
Addie Heath
Hello! My name is Addison Heath, and I am a junior at Nacogdoches High School. I am on the dragonette drill team, so I spend most of my free time dancing, and I am also the Vice President of the junior class.
Ian Hodge
Hi! My name is Ian Hodge and I am a part of SERVE Team at FUMC Nacogdoches. I go to Nacogdoches High School and will be going into my Junior year there. I enjoy playing guitar, building/woodworking, and playing basketball in my free time.
Whitley Howell
Hi, my name is Whitley Howell and I’m a junior at Nacogdoches High School. I’m currently a captain of the Dragonette Drill Team and Vice President of Key Club.
Robin Shackelford
Hello, I am Robin Shackelford I am going into sophomore year at Nacogdoches High School, I like to read and play volleyball and I am so honored to be a part of our churches Serve Team.
Sterling Smith
My name is Sterling Smith and I am a sophomore at Nacogdoches High School. I am a second year member of the NHS drill team. I have been a member of the Methodist youth since 7th grade and I was a part of the confirmation class of 2018. I like to read and hang out with friends in my free time. FUMC has and always will be a special place to me and my family.
David Taravella
Howdy Church, my name is David Taravella and I’m a Junior at Nacogdoches Highschool. Aside from serve team, I am an Eagle Scout, President of the Nacogdoches High School Key Club, a member of the youth praise band, and an employee of the church.
