Lent is a journey.
This Lent, we will cross important Mountains together on our way to the cross and resurrection of Jesus.
Mountains in the Bible are places of power and influence. The stories of those Mountains are often impacting stories in our faith.
Each week we will visit biblical stories of important Mountains and talk about how those stories help us prepare for Easter.

Join us at the TJR Annual Community-Wide Spelling Bee Fundraiser!
Our team is the 'Bee-attitudes' featuring Ms. Sweet Pickles, Ms. Sassy Pants and Gramma Grammar.
Doors open at 4:45 pm and the Spelling Bee begins at 5:30 p.m. in the TJR Auditorium.

Movie Night
Save the Date for our next Movie Night on the Lawn on Saturday, March 28th featuring the new Lilo & Stitch (2025), and ice cream sundaes in celebration of Palm Sunday.
Hang out on the lawn at 6:30pm for ice cream.
Movie starts at 7:30pm.

Reminders:
We need your plastic bags! The mobile food pantry is a growing ministry! We serve more than 400 families on the third Tuesday of every month. Please save your plastic bags to support our distribution efforts and drop them off in the collection box by the choir room.
Volunteers are needed to answer the phones in the church office Monday thru Friday. Shifts are 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Thanks to the generosity of many, our Sunday morning worship services always include glorifying God with fresh flowers. Remaining open Sundays in 2026 are April 26th, May 3rd, 10th, & 17th, and every Sunday from June 7th through December 27th.

Help decorate the chancel area on Easter Morning by placing an Easter Lily in memory or honor of a friend or family member. Lilies are $20.50/plant, and the deadline is Tuesday, March 10, 2026.
Please note: Easter Lilies may be picked up following the Easter Sunday worship services.

Get involved in the life and ministry of FirstNac UMC!
Our church has several trained Stephen Ministers who are waiting to be a compassionate confidential listener to those who are struggling.
Maybe it's you or someone you know who is experiencing grief over the loss of a loved one, reduced independence or the loss of a job. Those who know loneliness, isolation or depression are prime candidates to pair with a Stephen Minister who will be there with them to listen, to pray or just sit.
