Praise Worship
Come join us for a casual service with a more contemporary feel. Our greeters and ushers will welcome you at the door to help make sure you feel at home. Sermons from our pastors are scripturally based and informed by our United Methodist heritage. Music during the service is led by Brandon Beavers, along with members of our praise band. Communion is offered on the first Sunday of each month and taken by intinction (dipping the bread into the cup).

Traditional Worship
Come join us for a traditional United Methodist service with more of a "high church" atmosphere. Our greeters and ushers will welcome you at the door to help make sure you feel at home. Sermons from our pastors are scripturally based and informed by our United Methodist heritage. Music during the service is led by Dr. Tod Fish and Dr. Andrew Parr, both who have served as faculty in the School of Fine Arts at SFASU, along with our Chancel Choir. Songs are selected from the United Methodist Hymnal. Communion is offered on the first Sunday of each month and taken while kneeling at the alter rail in a traditional United Methodist style.

Join us! Rehearsals are on Wednesdays at 7:00 pm in the Choir Room, led by Tod Fish. We are not at all musicians; we enjoy singing God’s praises.

Praise Team
Our 8:45 am Praise Worship Service is led by our Praise Team and we welcome new singers, instrumentalists, and technical staff to help with live sound-mixing and computer operation.

Heart-to-Heart Chorus
Heart-to-Heart Chorus at First United Methodist Church in Nacogdoches is composed of seniors who enjoy the old familiar hymns and gospel songs. The group rehearses on the 1st and 3rd Mondays of the month September through May at 9:00 am in the Choir Room and sings at nursing homes, assisted-living facilities and other special events as requested. Anyone who enjoys singing is welcome.
