FUMC Nacogdoches Youth Ministries exists to nurture, encourage, teach, and champion 6th-12th grade students as they navigate life as young followers of Christ. Together, we become more aware of the grace of God that is active in our lives. We dig deep, share with one another, and learn what it means to be a disciple. We do this by developing authentic relationships, interacting in Bible study, discussing relevant topics, and worshipping God. We challenge our students to grow closer to Christ together so that we all may fulfill the purpose for which God has created us. Our youth ministries strive to be loving, welcoming, inclusive, and hope-filled so that our teenagers will know and believe the goodness of God in their lives. Our leaders and volunteers love God, love students, and desire to be a reminder of God’s love in the lives of our students.

Weekly Activities
SUNDAY SCHOOL
During the school year, we meet each Sunday morning in the youth center for Sunday School. We study God’s Word together and discuss what the story of God’s grace means for our lives. We enjoy donuts and kolaches each week. This event takes place from 10-10:50 am each Sunday in the youth center.
METHODIST YOUTH FELLOWSHIP
Each Wednesday night of the school year, we gather together in the youth center for our weekly youth group meeting. Students are invited to join us for worship time led by the youth band, a message, and small groups. It is a meaningful opportunity for youth to take time out of their busy lives to deepen their faith in Christ, strengthen their ties to our community, and be reminded of God’s active presence in their lives through his Holy Spirit. Doors open at 6:15 pm for hang out time and programming runs from 6:30-8:30 pm.
